Hi, i am struggling to customize the bresponzive theme i purchased.

    1) On the homepage:

1a) How do I display an image across the whole browser window? Right now 2000 pixel wide image is being shrunk to fit in the 1000 pixel content block. I’d like the image to show edge to edge of the browser window.

1b) Also, i want the image to appear much higher on the page? How do i shrink the id=”head-content” section and get the element ‘post-outer clearfix’ to appear higher on the page?

I tried reducing min line height in the bresponsize css and removing padding from the logo but this has barely had an effect. I am concerned the more settings i change I will break other pages, so how do you recommend i do this?

    2) I was expecting to see a settings page to enter my facebook url, g+ url, twitter url, etc. I see a page under settings to ‘show’ social icons but nowhere to choose an icon or url to point to. There are several fields for twitter keys & tokens but it still doesn’t ask for the URL. What am i missing here? how do i get the social icons to appear, i want it almost exactly like themepacific website in the top right corner of the menu bar.

    3) I can get this work done but likely not the way intended by the theme creators. I would like to do this the ‘right way’ so i don’t run into problems when the theme updates later. Is there a developer experienced with this theme I can talk to over email or over the phone to point me in the right direction?

    thanks

    Hello,

We don’t provide theme customization however small customization based users request. Please read the documentation and themepacific options page is easy to use. Just read the descriptions of the each fields and play with the options. You can easily do it yourself. If you need any help, use this thread.

    Thank you.

I have not found it easy to customize. Here’s a simple question … I want my logo in the left in the horizontal main menu, the exact same place you have the ‘themepacific’ logo on this page. How do i do this?

Also, can you refer any 3rd-party developers who are experienced with this theme?

Hi Larry, from your admin panel, you can go into Appearance – theme- theme options and you can set your logo up. I have the same theme.

    Thanks

Yes, uploading the logo is easy. The result is the logo appears below the main menu above the content. There is lots of white space around it so the actual content gets pushed further down the page than it should be.

I just want the logo should be in same the place as this website has it, in the same row as the menu so content isn’t pushed down the page so far.

Is it possible to put the logo where I want it using the theme or does it have to be in the default spot?

    Hi,

For that You have to customize the style.css file. Could you please share your website details? We’ll check your site.

    Thanks.
