Trying to add the page numbers below the RECENT POSTS section, so that it displays 6 recent posts, with “page numbers” underneath to take you to 6 older posts. Exactly like the 1 – 2 – 3 numbered “blue boxes” that are shown below the recent posts section here: http://demo.themepacific.com/silvermag/previewbar

What is the best way to add this?

Hello,

You can change layout using theme options page in Appearance section of WP Dashboard. There, you can find the all necessary settings to get your desired layout. If you are not expecting this, please add more details to your question.

What I’m asking is, how do I add the squares that have numbers on them (i.e.: 1, 2, 3) and put that in place of the blue “older posts” tab?

I found a Silver mag Pro website that uses the numbered page system I am talking about:

If you go to the bottom of the screen on that site, you will see the page number system they are using (numbers inside the blue squares). For some reason, I can’t figure out how to get my website formatted this way.

Hello,

Already, I’ve answered your question. Change the settings in Theme Options to get desired output. I will add some more details here,

In WP dashboard, Go to SilverMag Pro > Home Settings > BlogPosts Display Style -> Grid Style.

That’s it.

You still don’t understand what I’m trying to say. I have followed all those steps you listed with Grid Style. That is not the issue. What I am trying to do is replace the OLDER POSTS blue tab at the bottom with a number system. Just like what this person is using: http://godroll.com/

If you go to http://www.blog.hemanworld.com , you will see the difference between my site and their site. All I want is the little page squares at the bottom to show in place of the older posts tab. The steps you just gave me don’t do that.

I’m going to try to ask this question one more time 🙂

In the picture links attached, you can see that my site says “OLDER POSTS”. I want the NUMBERED page system like what you see in the second picture.

My site looks like this:

Hello,

I got your question and I’ve provided the correct instruction. If you have activated the Jetpack inifinite scroll, Deactivate that in Jetpack settings.
