    Hi there, I’m trying to make my website a place where viewers can watch and read content from our own contributors, but I also want to give my viewers an option to submit their own content. The problem is, my Recent Posts section on the main page may get over saturated with subscriber content rather than our own.

    How do I make it so, I am able to exclude specific categories from the Recent Post section?

    Yes, You can exclude specific categories from the Recent Posts. Please Refer to the WordPress Codex
