    I have been customizing the theme and added our Google+ account last. I noticed that the Google+ icon shows up fine but there is also a text link on the left hand side of the top menu bar.

    I can seem to remove it. If I remove the Google+ link under social accounts, the icon disappears but the text link is still there. Any ideas on how I can solve this?

    Thanks, but I restored my entire site from a backup this morning and then re-added the social accounts. Now the Google+ link on the right hand side is gone, only the icons on the right hand side are showing.

    Hello,

    It is not the theme issue. One your Plugin’s Widget creating trouble here, Just deactivate that plugin. I think that is Fresh Widget ..

    Thanks Raja CRN. It was the header and footer scripts plugin. It somehow copied the Google+ link into the header section when I added Google+ in the theme options.

    Thanks again, it’s been resolved.
