I ham having a bit of trouble trying to change the colors in the theme.
I tried changing them in the Style CSS file, but it did not work. I am trying to change the orange trending box to #8A0707 (Blood Red) as well as the primary menu bar, home box on the left side of the bar, the links in the bottom footer, and footer blocks.
Then, I’d like to have the thin linings that separate the sidebar widgets to #663399 (Royal purple), as well as the lines in the footer, and the hover color over the clickable menu texts, and post titles to be that as well. And the cat tags that are on the featured images to purple as well, but want to put those below the photos so people can see the photos as they cover too much.
Last but not least is the little calendar icon next to the date on the top menu to white.
Can anyone guide me with this?
