The Images will be automatically cropped and will be set in the carousels and slider. You don’t need to do anything on your part. Recommended Size: 778 x 544 for slider. Check functions.php file for more sizes.

If you want to display the top menu, Use the Following code in Theme Options > Custom CSS
#catmenu { display:block!important; }
Like I said before, Google will display the results after some time. Since site is responsive, the Top menu will be hidden in mobile.
The Google bots will crawl all your posts and display the breadcrumbs. It could take some more time depends upon the site content.
