I was playing trying to finalize my optimization and after some CSS options I did, the Mega Menus are not appearing. I’ve tried a number of fixes and reverting back to before, and I can do it take out “Mega Menu” at the “Menu” pages and the old style single column drop down would work. But if switch back to Mega Menu, they did not show again.
Pls help!
October 29, 2017 at 8:01 pm #8665Raja CRNKeymasterHello,
Please use Autoptimize plugin to minify the javascript files. It should work. Also, Note that other Plugin javascript files may also cause troubles. If you still face issues after that, share your website details with temporary login details.
Thanks.
October 29, 2017 at 8:23 pm #8666vchumMemberI can not get Autoptimize to work right; it’d flash the orange header and top menu bar between navigation. Is there something in autoptimize I can configure to fix this?
October 29, 2017 at 8:26 pm #8667Raja CRNKeymasterHello,
You can check with our demo Theme Source in browser. We’ve minified with the mentioned plugin and haven’t faced any issues. There is no special settings, just enable the minify to get things done.
October 29, 2017 at 8:26 pm #8668vchumMemberAnd the mega mmenu are not back. I’ve configured Autoptimze thoroughly with the Critical Path CSS…I was actually testing this prior to going back to Minify…then I entered the style.css into minify and then I lost mega menu’s.
I have a copy of the site back up but there’s no copy of the style.css so I can’t replace it in hopes for a fix.

You have to clear the cache files to make things work again. Your Site works with JS Minification.
October 30, 2017 at 2:28 am #8673vchumMemberI wish that was the case.
Mega Menus are still not loading after I flushed all cache. The regular menu works but when I switch it to mega menu, it disappears.
October 30, 2017 at 2:31 am #8674vchumMemberThe reason why I embarked on this are the following from Google Page Speed.
Optimize CSS Delivery of the following:
https://www.torontokartclub.org/wp-content/themes/bfastmag_pro/assets/css/bootstrap.min.css?ver=3.3.5
https://www.torontokartclub.org/wp-content/themes/bfastmag_pro/style.css?ver=4.8.2
https://www.torontokartclub.org/wp-content/themes/bfastmag_pro/assets/css/mobile.css?ver=1.0.0
https://www.torontokartclub.org/wp-content/themes/bfastmag_pro/assets/css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=4.4.0October 30, 2017 at 11:30 am #8675Raja CRNKeymasterHello,
You have not placed the mega menu columns in right manner. Please Read the Documentation clearly.
If you use three mega columns. You have to add 3 Sub Items under the Parent Item. Then for Each Sub-items, add the links as Sub-items.
To Optimize the CSS delivery, use minification and join the style sheets. You can do that in Autoptimize Plugin.
Use the above tip, that will fix your issues.
October 30, 2017 at 11:59 am #8676vchumMemberI’ve asked for a backup restore of the site already. Let’s hope that takes care of it.
Once this is fixed, I’m done with optimization; it was all working before exactly like how I wanted it until I noticed that Google Page Speed render blocks. But even with rend-blocks, the site was running fine.
October 30, 2017 at 12:03 pm #8677Raja CRNKeymasterHello,
That Render block CSS will be fixed, if you enable the inline and Defer CSS option in that Plugin.
Thanks
October 30, 2017 at 12:04 pm #8678vchumMemberThe render-blocks were still there [as per google page speed test] after you went in [I assumed you did] to enable those options.
October 30, 2017 at 12:09 pm #8679Raja CRNKeymasterHello,
Did you enable the Optimize CSS Code? Also, clear the the Cache in that plugin. It looks like the recent update you made on the website not reflecting in the test.
Hope you got it.
Thanks
October 30, 2017 at 12:45 pm #8680vchumMemberThey’ve restored the site but the issue remains that mega menus are not showing. I will continue to troubleshoot this. I have no idea why it worked before. I have 18 items [pages] that I want the mega menu to show in 3-column format.
