Header Ad and Breaking News Ticker Issues

Neither of them show up on a tablet or minimized browsing screen. Is there a fix for this? Its kind of pointless to pay for the upgrade if two of the main features aren’t available on formats that a majority of people will be using.

Additionally, in the AD Banners tab on the Theme Options screen, it says “Sidebar Ads; To show Sidebar Ad, Go to Widgets Page” yet there isn’t a widget to add to the menu?
